It's great what you're doing. I didn't have the knowledge to the same when I was in that situation.
I also had symptoms of tingly fingers and double vision when I was 12; they didn't diagnose me till I was 13, but 5 months wasn't too bad in 1998. I didn't know anyone my age with MS and confidentiality laws meant I couldn't ask.
