I love this song, which is mildly surprising since I was extremely disappointed with this most recent album. I'm not sure if I've changed, or if the album is just shitty for some reason, because I absolutely adored Evanescence. But I found this last album to be lacking something, perhaps the "rawness" that the other people were talking about?
Happy song or sad song, Amy Lee's voice just automatically makes me feel better. No matter what shit happened throughout my day. So glad Ev finally has a new album! Thanks for posting it for us! :)

I think this is their best album. Every single song Amy has sang, or any song evanescence has done, I'm in love with. I'm the ultimate evanescence fan! To the people who say they like their old stuff because she was mad and angry in it as you are now, why don't you look on the positives on life? Everybody has their rough spots in life, I'm going through crap too, but listening to any ev song makes my day....just try to look on the bright side guys, besides there are dark songs on here but

My favorite Evanescence songs are the older ones, because they steadily get less dark. I don't listen to Evanescence to hear another average band with average happiness. I listen to Evanescence to feel my own suffering in music.

I love Evanescence. Their range of vocals and instruments is so amazing. This song has all the instruments i love. Voice, violin, piano, harp, and i believe there was some cello in there too. <3 So beautiful.

I'm going to be honest, i love evanescence and amy lee is one of my favorite female singers, BUT this album disappointed me like The Open Door, out of 16 songs, i only like "What You Want", "Lost In Paradise", "New Way To Bleed", "Disappear", and "Secret Door"

@RockenGangster i like TOD because it's the last album she made where she still wasn't all the way happy, and tied all the loose ends. what i don't like about her last two albums is how processed it sounds, the guitars just sound so fake to me, the voice too. (not with this RAW song though) why i like their EPthe most, pure, raw, just an undiscovered outcast girl with an undiscovered outcast guy expressing themselves musicly without boundries somewhere in a basement, in a smalltown. raw and pure

I agree completely and I get told I'm not a real fan. I am, I just can relate better to her older albums because she was as hurt and angry as I am and her voice carried that emotion whereas this album is alright but it sound too forced and less pure.
@sTapleEVA the best album for me from Ev was their EPs too! raw, powerful, dark. this new album seems "girly". Fallen is great and The Open Door. on this album alone, i just like Lost in Paradise. unlike the other 2, you will definitely find one in an instant.
