The 3.8 and 2.0T get upgraded engines with more HP and Torque starting with the 2013 model. It would be nice to see the V8 make its way into the Coupe, though. And if not that, why not the turbo V6 from the KIA GT?
@tvr614 There will be a V8 eventually, my guess is hyundai and kia are playing it really safe and offering low power option first to cut any potential losses for a failed project as far as sales go, so they kept the power low for the first couple years of release in various models and when they made a lot of sales and money to use for further upgrades to future model years and engines, they got feeback saying customers want more power, so they feel the time is right (2013) to start the process.
@tvr614 Well yes and no, the average model will suit the average occasionally spirited driver well, you want something a bit more hardcore and with weight reduction I bet they make an R-spec with weight reduction in mind.

@johnkor its hard to capture LED tail lights on cam unless you have a very good cam, thats why they look like they are blinking on video.
