  • thats cool how they gave him a new truck. After the truck got rammed and a guy guy shot to death inside, I knew that his old truck was done for and he would never drive it again. I was wondering while this happened if his insurance would cover his old truck. Nice how they gave him a brand new chevy truck. Cool.

  • don't forget about Pilot Mike Silva. He's a hero!

  • I don't understand why Det. Robert Wallis jumped out of his car in front of a speeding car.

  • i dont understand. according to the video, what it looked like to me was Bob got out of his car and ran directly in the path of the truck...why the hell would he do that? perhaps i am mistaken but thats what it looked like.

  • @Goodie8486 i think he was tryin' to make him stop by aiming his gun at him, but to no avail

  • God bless Robert Wallis and may he be in the Lord's arms. A hero to the end. My sympathies to his friends and family

  • R.I.P Detective Walace!

  • What a helicopter pilot. Great job blocking that suspect to save that elderly man's life.

  • I work in Emergency Medical Services.

The way I deal w/ situations like this one which, fortunately isn't often, is to remind myself that the criminal is the only one at fault.

I don't care what personal problems the thug had, violent assault is a conscious choice.

And I refuse to feel responsible for choices HE made. Especially since he NEVER does.

What happened is sad, but I do everything I can to help.

That has to be good enough, or the job's stresses will swallow you whole.
