I agree. I don't have epilepsy, but I know people who do, and most of them have their share of horror stories. Anyone beyond the norm is going to have problems with unthinking and uncaring people, as you no doubt know. Though I sincerely doubt anyone was thinking about epilepsy when this was posted, I do think you have a very valid point. It's the same with the commonly used expression "retard."
