Constructive Criticism: Always get the lyrics before starting a video project. It's how you determine what images and clips are going into the project. Especially if the video is just ...lyrics. Still a good video.
In history as a form of vigilante punishment, a poor unfortunate soul was stripped to the waist and hot tar would be poured on them, they were then rolled in feathers and drug through town to be humiliated, hence the term "tarred and feathered".
In the song it is parallel to how wickedly people can treat us and try to humiliate us.
I find it amusing when people try to correct other people's grammatical errors, but make errors themselves in the process. "Spelt" is not in the english language.
Well actually, spelt is, amung other things, a serial sometimes used as an alternative to wheaed, so regardless of whether you like it spelled spelt or spelled, dealt or dealed, knelt or kneeled, felt or feeled, went or wended, bent or bended, rent or rended, and lent or lended (or even loaned), if you have a wheat allergy you can still eat spelt bread, even in english. :)
It would be "went or goed", dumbass! What the hell is "wended", and where did u pull that random d from? Out of your ass? You suck at english spelling and grammatical rules, and you likely suck at life as well...
"wend" is the present tense verb, as in the phrase "to wend your way..." meaning to travel in a ponderous and indirect manner, of which the past tense is "went" and, this having been my point, not "wended". the past tense of the word "go" is actually "gone", but nowadays the distinction between it and "went" is often muddled, and since "wend" has dropped out of usage altogether, often irrelevant. Since you missed my point so aggressively I have to add that you have now been thoroughly ownt.
Song gives me strentgth when things look bad. it's hooks thought not "hoax" Thanks for posting.

A song with great meaning and spirit, and the only thing people could point out is the spelling errors.

The words "tar you" are correct :)

@markbakovic Let's just listen to the song. There is no need to make this a grammar lesson.
