um...i understood what you were saying about acceptiing or not accepting others' beliefs based on what feels right to you, but i think your example of cutting was a very poor example. i don't think that if you believe harming yourself is ok, than you should do it, but that's just my opinion, which i know you didnt ask for, but being a recovering cutter myself, there is just no way you can be healthy and doing that kind of stuff.
thanks for thinking it over. I used to cut and still have a weakness for it. I understand that you think it is unhealthy and I agree to a point but you can't tell someone they are unhealthy just because they do that and hold it against them. We all do "unhealthy" things one way or another. Drinking alcohol could be considered unhealthy. I don't think telling someone what is good for them or not good for them is just. cutting is very personal, no one can judge that.
I think i mispoke in a way, when i said you couldnt be healthy and be a cutter i meant that i think the action itself is usually done for reasons that are often unecessary. I think that, in a backwords sort of way, you may be unintentionally encourageing people to harm themselves, saying that it is ok if it feels right, when really there are better ways to deal with certain situations. i dont mean to tell someone how to live, but self harm should be, in my opinion, universally unaccepted.
also, i don't hold anyone's life choices against them. I know there are alwasy reasons for the things people do and say, and would never judge someone on their actions alone.

In modern terms to sacrifice meant to "make sacred". The Christians bastarized (sp) the meaning.
When you offer the animal to the gods they were eating blessed meat. in some cultures.
Again great respose.
