Thermo-nuclear means that you need tens of millions of degrees for hydrogen fusion to happen. They need fission to create the heat.

The initial explosion is fission, which then powers the fusion (most of the blast). Basically making your own personal star right here on earth.

Cold Fusion is the attempt to lower the temperature for fusion to happen, so they can contain it with current materials and use it for power.

None of them. It was a fusion bomb not a fission bomb. There was no alpha or beta radiation, and the gamma radiation was only existent for milliseconds in the blast area. You would have to have been close enough to the blast to be incinerated to have been irradiated. Its one of the beauties of an H bomb vs a Uranium or Plutonium bomb, the land and objects in the blast area following the explosion are still useful almost immediately after detonation... What little survives...
