The more I watch this kid the more he reminds me of Zidane, especially with the ball at his feet. Most gifted pure striker technically. You could argue RC, Messi & Neymar are as well but initially theyre wingers, Im talking as a #9. Impressive preseason this summer and ready to really unleash his full potention this year I feel. Barca may be the best on the planet but I feel Real will do great things this year, starting with Benz.

And that Madrid "wastes talents if they were air" is a bit too hard too. Just look at Di Maria, Özil, Higuaín, Marcelo, Khedira and Ramos. They all came to Madrid as youngsters and now they're world class players, all of them. Don't stare yourself blind at Canales and such.

no that's the exact reason i believe cesc will stay! aside from the probability that barcelona won't meet arsenal's demands, the bigger reason behind him staying is the very fact he loves this club a lot more than people give him credit for. he simply wouldn't leave having not won anything for us as captain. his respect for the club is emphasised by his relationship with wenger and the fact he has openly stated he would never consider a move to anywhere but barca.

How people can say Benzema has changed? You cannot become a talented striker in a week-end. Benzema always played like that; it's just that some coaches don't know where talent is. Mourhino (and spanish) are just discovering Benzema.
@LaboControle To be honest, Benzema was in horrible form until now. Benzema's confidence was low, and that caused him to doubt himself. Now he knows he can score, and he is playing amazing for madrid. Hopefully, Madrid doesn't bench him when Higuain returns, and change th formation to fit Benzema and Higuain on top.

Benzema needs to play 90 minutes as a striker and not just as a subtitute as a winger. He is way better than higuain at his bests. He reminds me of El Fenomeno. I hope mourinho undestands that and make him again who he was at lyon.

@VChapaev Benzema gets embarrassed when he's in front of the GK because of the unnecessary pressure the fans put on him. But outside the box his pass&move is amazing. In the match against Milan he come on for 15 min. and gave the assist to the winning goal, and against Hercules he also gave 2 assists to the winning goals in 15 mins of playing time, and against Almeria the 1-1 assist when he played 30 min. Karim is unselfish.

Just download matches of the 09-10 pre season to see how fast they played together. Now Ronaldo Di Maria, Marcelo.. They don't have good passing and they keep the ball way too long than they should. Ronaldo is great but Robben was way betta. Ozil&kaka = great Sneijder. = The greatest

Benzema needs to play 90 minutes as a striker and not just as a subtitute as a winger. He is way better than higuain at his bests. He reminds me of El Fenomeno. I hope mourinho undestands that and make him again who he was at lyon.
