But after all and the 5 times I've personally driven past these people on my way into Cornerstone Fest, I agree that the best thing we all should be doing is praying that God shows them the Light and the Truth and the error in their ways. I'm not a fan of scream-o or hard core music in the least bit (it gives me a headache), but seriously, people should be allowed to praise Jesus however they want as long as they're actually praising Him. People have different preferences in music and should be allowed to praise Him in that way. Despite not liking scream-o, Cornerstone is an amazing festival. I've met so many amazing people here who are full of God's love....

I havnt been to Cornerstone since 2006 because ive been in Asia, but wow... this seems to be an example of the flight from the middle to the extremes that seems to be taking hold in the States. The sad thing is you cant even respond to them because to do so would be to prove their point or to be like them. Maybe someone should set up a generator state right beside them in like chicken suits and sing about apples just to be more rediculas them they are...might get a few laughs

I find that the most difficult thing to do in life is to love those who so vigourously hold on to a different Jesus. If there is one thing i have learned. Its that Jesus doesn't move when you try and change people, but when you so humbley let Jesus change you. Lets pray for these people out of love for Christ because he loved us first.

I actually emailed the pastor of one of the nicer churches before c-stone, saying I was looking forward to discussing theology and beliefs with them. And he said they were not attending because THIS^ church was so vulgar crass and un biblical. they didn't want to be associated with them.

Ha im on my moms thing but last year me and a couple of my friends went out there and he said that were all sinners and that he doesnt sin....i just laughed at him and said the verse "1 John 1:88 If we say we have no sin [refusing to admit that we are sinners], we delude and lead ourselves astray, and the Truth [which the Gospel presents] is not in us [does not dwell in our hearts]...." all i could do was laugh cause he bashed my family and i just laughed so there ignorant little people funny...

Some of the members of the bands are lovers of pleasure more than God. If people truly loved Jesus they would not be drinking, drugging, divorcing, etc. They would be sold out to Jesus and NO PLEASURE of this world would be pulling them aside into it's attractions. The main problem in the church today is that Jesus is not the First Love in most Christian's lives. They love their porn more, their addiciton more, their affair more....etc. But it's not the beat that's a sin.

I havnt been to Cornerstone since 2006 because ive been in Asia, but wow... this seems to be an example of the flight from the middle to the extremes that seems to be taking hold in the States. The sad thing is you cant even respond to them because to do so would be to prove their point or to be like them. Maybe someone should set up a generator state right beside them in like chicken suits and sing about apples just to be more rediculas them they are...might get a few laughs

I find that the most difficult thing to do in life is to love those who so vigourously hold on to a different Jesus. If there is one thing i have learned. Its that Jesus doesn't move when you try and change people, but when you so humbley let Jesus change you. Lets pray for these people out of love for Christ because he loved us first.
What if these people could channel their zeal in a loving way to preach ALL of Christ. Paul was the same way. He ended up aight. I will pray :)

I was shocked they weren't there this year...
I actually emailed the pastor of one of the nicer churches before c-stone, saying I was looking forward to discussing theology and beliefs with them. And he said they were not attending because THIS^ church was so vulgar crass and un biblical. they didn't want to be associated with them.
So not all the protesters thankfully are completely out of their mind.
You have to also admit, c-stone isn't perfect either...

i went out and talked to the guys with a bunch of my friends. This one dude kept calling my friend names and kept cutting everyone off that tried to say something. Ha he kept saying something about cornerstone not letting them in. When in fact they had been offered multiple times to come in and see whats going on. The people annoyed the crap out of me. i had to just walk away. Cornerstone is an amazing place. even non christians have said its the most fun theyve had at a music festival.

These people make our job so much more difficult. we have to clean up misconceptions and fear in order to help new believers to know Jesus. Being in a band like Grave Robber really brings the heat from closed minded so called Christians too!! See yall at C-Stone 2009!

The Bible says Satan comes as an angel of light, so it's obvious they are using their own criteria for what they consider evil! Volume, passion, sound effects, etc. Which of these is evil? (None.) If they had any wisdom, they would make the effort to evaulate things Biblically, by the lyrics & the true spirit begind the music {reflected in the lyrics and the character of the musicians!} But that takes effort & getting a bit uncomfy. Foolish preachers...brood of vipers!
