Hey, sorry. I just tried to make the synth in Massive (It looks like your version im not sure what one though)

It sounds NOTHING like yours, Maybe its because Im playing on a regular computer keyboard or not but. It just sounds high pitched and not all rythmic. Am I just playing the wrong notes?

If you are not getting the plucking sound after adding adding envelope 3 to the lowpass filter, take the resonance all the way down on the lowpass filter, should make it sound plucky.

@m10690d Right click a parameter > Create automation clip > Edit automation in playlist.

@m10690d Or you can click the Record, choose Automation and Score', then press play, the metronome will do a count down, then the sequencer will start playing and whatever settings you change during this period will be recorded to which ever pattern number you have selected. When you have finished, press Stop and press the Record button again to turn of Record mode.

sweet tutorial man, but im not entirely sure on how to automate massive through ableton, like you do in part 2, with the decay level in envelope 3... you have a slider dedicated to the decal level inside ableton from the very start of part 1, how did you get it there?

@Crunkeh94 the last thing you alter in massive appears in the sidebar automation in ableton. move it a bit and back again and it should appear on the side where you can now create some automation.

Can you upload the .ksd? I followed your tutorial step by step and up until you adjust the 4th envelope it stops sounding the same but after that it stops :(

@kafro3 Whichever envelope is controlling your amplitude, change that one. Mine happens to be 4 it could be different for you depending on what version of Massive you are using.

@phortysiks I have the settings the same but when you move on to envelope 3 and put it through the lowpass filter, it sounds more 'plucky' for you, but pretty much just kills the sound for me. it seems like the 3 envelope is taking over the sound wave even instead of mixing them. have 4 Evn dragged to the AMP and BYPASS like yours...but as soon as i adjust 3 Env and put it through the lowpass filter it messes up.

do you find massive uses alot of cpu ?? cos it certainly does in logic. as with all 3rd party plug ins ... i usually create a patch then bounce it down to audio to combat this but then if i want to tweak something later on ... im screwed :-(
