  • Rufus hit #30 in Billboard, 2-2-80. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx! Have a great week!

  • When I listen to good jams like this, it makes me wish I was young back in the 70s and early 80s. It seemed like people had more fun back in the day.

  • 1979! Reminds me of 6th grade at 49th Street school and when Magic Johnson joined the Lakers.

  • I am luving this ... Just fabulous!

  • Real Music Never Dies!!! lol...that sounds like a james bond movie..hahaha

  • love this womans voice...naturally husky and has depth and is just beautiful

  • IM 13 & man this is my jam these songs out now are garbage , i wish i was born back then , music these days are garbage!

  • Chaka is my girl, best voice of any female singer IMO.

  • I had an eight track tape that I made with this song on it. These were good times. Chaka has always been a positive influence in the world of music. This women has such a powerful voice and can still bring it.

  • @YourMamasHangOut lmao..

  • @thanugg Yes, I feel you on that. They missed out on the very best music that will ever come from the music industry. SOME of todays' artists are good but, they are far & few. Old school will live forever & ever because it's classic & pure talent that was born through our bands & artists of yesterday that live on" strongly" in the music industry today. The music, the sound & pure talent will always rise above the rest.

  • @thanugg IKR,MAN THE MEMORIES....: )

  • I love this song I still have the 45 record

  • is it my imaganation or do the biggest voices come from the smallest singers. patrice rushen, stephanie mills, ,evelyn "champagne king, sade etc. just wondering ?

  • the best!! love song..

  • love the vid!!!
