Wow, clear penalty that should have gone Palace's way at 56 seconds in the video... I guess Manc scum got all the calls even before the Premier League!
Hearing Sealey was playing was the biggest relief ever and maybe with hindsight fergie's best ever team selection, what people may not realize is that palace bombed the box full of high difficult crosses and Les took every one, if Leighton would have been on it would have been chaos as usual..
That was a great decision by Ferguson. He has made so many like that over the years. Head before heart. Which is why Bryan Robson wasn't on the bench for the 1994 FA Cup Final. He didn't let sentiment get in the way. And this is from a neutral Newcastle Utd fan!! :-)
It's amazing to think back to 1990, when Man United fans held up signs saying "Sack Ferguson" after 3 years and no trophies but this win changed all that and the rest, of course, is history.
Went to the first game but had too miss this game as had exams at school, should of ditched the fucking exams.Watched it at my mates, went fucking nuts when we won it.Just not the same anymore

Yes it did but it probably wouldnt have if the referee had given the penalty for the foul after the free kick shown on this Video, anybody who says thats not a penalty needs to be shot, look at the man utd player scream at the linesman he got the ball when he clearly got the man, that match was fixed FACT.
After that goal, united dominated the world

@lovelove111112 What are you talking about? I just call it how I see it!
thegambitking 3 months ago
@thegambitking It was a foul anyway, it was offside thats why the penalty wasnt called. they show it in the replay right after the tackle.

2:05...Wallace & Hughes are off-side!!! Martin's goal should have been disallowed.
mangiagatti85 1 year ago
@mangiagatti85 Wise up both Hughes & Wallace are outside the 18 yard box when the pass was played. Have you any idea of the offiside rule?

Aye, a great keeper. God Jim Leighton was useless. Why scotland persisted with him I dont know - cost them results in the 1990 and 1994 world cups.
