@alsas007 Thanks for your comment and compliment. The "big" Sanskrit words is what makes Hindi "difficult" and I don't know that many. I think posting yourself speaking on YouTube will help your Hindi as you may receive loads of feedback from the native speakers. I think you did a great job learning from movies only. Anyway, good luck with your YT Hindi videos and with your Hindi!

Hi good job:) don't listen to all those who say that its accented and no indian would be able to understand as it is not the case .......but whatever you said in the video can not be said about the 1.8bn Indian I agree things mentioned do take place but we cant generalize the whole society on the basis of it arrange marriage a majority phenomenon adar hataya not so look at the proportion so its my request that you mention things but make sure you do not generalize it
@stallionarun Hey, thanks! Actually, the things I'm saying are not necessarily correct and reflect Indian society which is too diverse. However I can't deny that some things that are happening in India seem very archaic and I struggle to accept them. One of them is arranged marriage and honor killing. I know that the killing part is very rare and extreme case but this video was inspired by some event I heard on the News at that time (a year ago).
@CrazyLassi yeah i know what you mean those events did take place a year ago and it is not wrong but what i meant was not to label the whole the society depending upon a few rare extreme cases and as for the arranged marriage yeah i agree with you it is a phenomenon which is quite explicitly present in the society and defines it as well but it does not mean that i support the idea of arranged marriage.... @azureamour I disagree. I speak Hindi and understood it easily. Its slightly accented, but that can be worked out with more practice. She just needs to adjust her speed a bit more and improve a little on emphasizing certain words/parts of words.
@azureamour Native Hindi speakers speak other languages with an accent. Accents are to be expected when someone speaks a language that isn't there native one.

@aminasoul I started about 3 years ago, but it wasn't very intensive. However since I come to India 1 year ago, my Hindi is slowly improving, I'll post a video on that later.
