I have a fond memory of the puppet Dream Finder carries with him stealing my hat and tossing it on the ground. That really made my day as a kid. I still smile when I think of it. I miss you Figment. You will always have a special place in my heart.

I love the people who say that he is a dragon and then I correct them. They actually have gone "He isn't?" with a dumbfounded look on their face. Imagine (haha) their surprise when I tell them what he really is. HE IS A FIGMENT OF THE IMAGINATION! Plain and simple. The new ride involves Eric Idle, so instead of the serious man and the funny man (which works wonders with Dreamfinder and Figment), it is two comedians. Thankfully one of the doors is labelled Dean Finder in memory of Dreamfinder.

I remember this original version of this song on the ride, Billy Barty was the voice of Figment and in one part when he's laughing around 2:30 - 2:33 it almost sounds like he says Holy Crap! I'm sure he doesn't but funny just the same.

I mean, really, why'd they have to change the name? Now I have to get used to saying "Hollywood Studios" instead of the familiar "MGM Studios."

But yeah, I've seen the EPCOT idea; it's definitely interesting. And it sadly would most likely take more than a petition site to bring the ride back... if only Disney would listen to the consumers in this case!

I think it would have to take more then that. Of course, I keep thinking about Walt Disney and how he would feel if he were here today. I don't think he would like Disney world because theres to much advertisement. And furthermore, what i found interesting about EPCOT, it stands for Experimental prototype community of tomorrow. He actually designed the entire thing and he actually intended people to live on it. I think that would be cool. All that is in the about Walt section ironically...

This was such a fun, interesting ride with a GREAT message. I know it was a REALLY big influence on me as a kid. The new ride is okay, but the original was great. Sad that it's not around for new generations to enjoy.

I grew up near EPCOT and went there all the time as a kid in the 80s. Figment and the Journey into Imagination was one of my main reasons for going to EPCOT.

I love Figment, I mean how can you not? Figment is awesome, to bad he is underated as a Disney Character. They should really put the origanal ride back into the parks. Maybe in California Adventure they could find a place to put either a small fFgment section or just put in the ride in a building with a shop and new sorts of innovations to test your imagination. As underated as Figment is I think that they could make figment into a big character at all of the Disney parks. That would be awesome.
