i have to play bari in my next concert and im an alto. i have never even played tenor. its so hard to get used to the bari. when i pick up my alto again it feels soooooo much lighter

well practice opening up your throat and let TONS of warm air thru the mouth piece do this for 3whole notes if possible (2min), also start from a reg G and work yourself down to a Low A if your bari has the key ;D Keep on practicing and in no time you will master the low notes on Bari!

@tarheelgirl641 Im playing bari too. this is my 3rd year. I've had trouble on my low notes w/ my alto but not bari. Check your reed hardness. Harder reeds play low notes good but take more air. Softer leads to easier high notes. I use 2 1/2. i recommend using only 2 1/2. Also i've been know to be very loud. Sometimes ya gotta hear yourself to know how loud your playing. @charliechanga654 Our friend wrote out the basic melodies based on a sax quartet here on youtube, and then the 3 of us and our band director added in all the fun stuff. Basically whatever popped into our heads.

Unfortunately, I don't have the copy of this music... it is on my band directors computer :/
