Just as I figured, the media has blown this whole thing out of proportion. We were married in PV and it will always hold a special place in our hearts. We feel very sorry for all the nice people there that have to suffer because the media needs it's ratings. We hope things return to normal soon.

We came back home from PV on April 24th after another wonderful 2 week vacation (our 9th time there). We were fine even after we had to change planes in Mexico city. In fact, we didn't even know about the swine flu till we got back to the U.S. that day. I wouldn't hesitate to go back today.

I was in puerto Vallarta last week with my wife and 2 kids and we all had a blast!!!We didn't see anyone sick, so do not believe everything that was said by the stupid media, they have a tendency to blow things out of proportion in order to get the ratings up!!! Shame on them.

My wife and I (Canadian retirees) have lived in PV for 6 years and since the whole man made, media hyped swine flu debacle was visited upon us only one thing has changed in PV - it is easier to park in el centro and old town. Everything else - including the health of the general population is awesome!! Media hype and big pharma felonies. Swine flu should be lot worst than it really is in the international news. Really, nothing wrong is going on in Vallarta, and never have been actually it were very few cases in whole Mexico. Puerto Vallarta is a great place, come and visit us.

Is true, I was in PVR 2 days ago and nobody is sick of flu. Puerto Vallarta is beautifull and people is soo friendly. We had a great vacation

Puerto Vallarta is my favorite place in the world! I was there all last week and the weather was great, the people were fun and my family had a great time. There was no flu and no one was sick. I don't even think there has been a case in the whole state of Jalisco!!!!
