  • be careful to not correlate a wiccan wearing an upright pentagram to a christian wearing a cross unless you qualify it- some christians who wear crosses see the wiccans who wear upright petagrams the same as if they were a satanist wearing an inverted pentagram- to christianity both symbols are blasphemies

  • Very nice video and very well said about the Pentagram! :-)

  • Awesome! Now i fully understand the meaning of this sacred symbol.

  • i thought it would make sense to have it inverted for it represents attraction ( the first law in the universe).

  • That could work too, I'm just going with the strandard occultic meaning.

  • Great video! Well researched, well said.

  • Cheers! :-)

  • Very interesting! Well, it would make sense symbolically, being that the inverted pentagram has the two points facing upwards.

  • It is my great pleasure :-)

  • In My opinion, the pentagram should be free to rotate on its axis...

The world needs chaos just as much as it needs order, otherwise there can be no balance...

    But no goat heads, please...

  • LOL Not into Baphomet?

I agree with what you are saying, and I personally feel a bit bad about having to compare Paganism to Satanism and seperate the two, everyone is always picking on the Satanists without even understanding what they are about. It's certainly not my cup of tea but CoS Satanists are essentially just spiritual humanists, not devil worshipping baby killers.

Also yes, it is funny that if you wear the pentagram pointing up and look at it from your POV it is upsidedown.

  • Although to others they seem very similar.

I actually agree with a few of the CoS's ideals (Esp. the sins 1# stupidity)such as to show respect to others and never harm non-human animals.

but really, like i said before it comes down to intent.

Satanists use magick and manipulation for their own benefit.

white witches, druids, pagans (and others) use their energies and skills for the benefit of others.

nothing, even magick, is inherently evil or good.

    paganism= proactive

    satanism= reactive

  • I completely agree with that assessment :)

  • The pentagram like the crucifix is first and foremost a symbol of protection in faith.

But in the same vein, it can be used to incite fear or for selfish purposes, such as in satanism...

The irony is if you draw an upright pentagram on the group in front of you, then step over it and turn around, it will be reversed.

The same object can seem very different from two points of view...

The only thing that matters is intent...

  • In arthurian legend , sir Gawain had a pentgram on his sheild representing the 5 wounds of christ.

Another fact about the reversed pentagram.

The two points upward signify the trumphant horns of baphomet(the goat head) over the holy trinity (the three points down signifying the trinity itself).

In the same way a crucefix upside down and on fire would be different to a normal upright one, right?

  • I'm amazed at the depth and diversity of your knowledge. Thanks for sharing it via your exceptional talents.

Blessed be to you too. Hugs.

  • OMG!!!!!!!! Watch the 'looking forward' video, watch it, watch it, watch it!!!! <3333

  • Yep, well basically when the Christians took over they imposed new meanings over the top of those celebrations. If they had taken them away altogether there probably would have been riots, and those yearly markers were important for agriculture etc. But the pagan spirit lives on, for instance WTF do eggs and bunnies or having a tree in your house have to do with Christ? ;-P

  • True that is why I see Christianity as nothing more than plagiarism where they took from pagan cultures and changed name to them. Not only is the cross original a pagan symbol but it also symbolises the sun as it travels around all soltices,12 zodiacs in the Babylonian astrology and Jesus hade 12 followers so you could say that Jesus is the sun that travels around with his 12 followers or zodiacs. And yes they changed name of traditions but they failed to make midsummer here in the north Christian

  • Yep, the cross represents the sun, look at the centre of a drawing of the zodiac and you will see a cross. This is why many branches do not use the cross because it is pre-Christian in origin.

  • Look up 'sacred geometry' it goes up to 22 sided stars, which become 3D objects. Ceremonial magicians are really into that kinda stuff.

  • yeh, i dont know what to belive, all im doing now is not beleiving but its in my thoughts so im not making it a religion hahah, but from so so so so so many parts of the world that say this prophecie come to this date, that is what is interesting,

  • Beautifully explained, sis. :) I think you did an awesome job.

  • Cross, pentagram, it's all the same nonsense to me.

  • I'm glad I could unscare you LOL :-P

  • Stupid me didn't realise you were pagan too! Heil sister! )0(

  • I thought it was a great little visual history. I'd like to see it as a public service announcement. On all major networks. During primetime. Spread the word!

  • Thank you!!! :-)

  • cor i love all your music Jessamine,

Do you know anything about the great date 2012?

  • That our solar system will come into allignement with the cosmic sun at the centre of the unverse for the first time since the Mayans? The end of the world as we know it and the beginning of something new? Is that about it?

  • yep apparently 2012, all that happens, but it isnt the end, its an ascension to a fourth dimension, basicly a big change in our dna will occur... and well sounds fun...

  • I heard that one theory is that the energy of the cosmic sun is similar to the resonnance of love. Those who are not in harmony with that will be obliterated :-(

  • kind of , but i dont want to think it like that, it sounds like a bliming judgement day

  • Thanks for the info :) I always taught it was a wonderful symbol cause it looks very good.. now I know what it stands for :P I also like all those runes of elder futhark around it in 3:06.

All love and respect from yours truly Jasmine :)

  • I thought you would like them. Yeah, I could stare at the pentagram for hours, its a beautiful symbol.

  • Yeah it truly is a beautiful symbol. I think you pagans have the most awsome symbols :) Most over the fact that all of you reuse old symbols.. it can be the pentagram or it can be some celtic symbol or it can be the achient runic alphabets such as elder furthark:P to many many other old symbols from many old cultures :P That I think is awsome :P

Lots of love from yours truly Jasmine :)

  • I love symbols, I think I would even if I was an atheist.

  • I'm not 100% sure but I think I invented the pentagram as a kid for myself when I toyed around with geometrical drawing. Only later I learned it had different meanings. My first drawings used to be tip-down... I hope this doesn't make me evil. *lol*

  • Nope, it may represent how you felt at the time, after all children often seem to be driven by matter and rather chaotic. Good and evil are not usually so cut and dried.

  • Well, yeah, I was only joking. As I said, I was toying around with geometrical drawings, and in fact I don't believe in (ie I'm actually certain of the nonexistence of) esoterics and such.

  • Well you don't have to be esoteric to be into sacred geometry. You can allow beautiful things to effect your mind without believing in anything spiritual :-)
