he is such a extra ordinary person in this industry..his creations are outstanding..when you will listen to his musics you will feel (if you know how to feel it)something going on inside you.. like it speaks from your heat..something mind blowing..something earth moving..
big time fake !!! boring composition.. because of indian poverty these international people gave a award to that movie and to this guy's dumb music, which is a very weird sound to these foreigners ... so no surprise to that. his music here clearly sounds so fake and unreal. korean kids will stamp him down if they play piano once . ar rehman is just succesful in so called dumb fimly music but he could never be a true musician bcs he can not be. fake even these awards are dumb waste
@roses4guns Please stop commenting like a fool. The folks at the committee there are not fools to give awards for music just by seeing the film. And if you have listened to his other works may be you wouldn't have commented so. And its hard to see a person be so humble after being accredited by the whole world. You're just a creepy dog barking at the sun.. GO GET A LIFE!!!!!
he's one of the greats of indian music..people dont realise there have been others like him in or country but never got the worldwide recognition..even then..he has tremendous talent.
@666enator The irony is that he got international recognition for "Jay Ho", one among his mediocre work. There are so many gems of his out there, slumdog to me was just a lucky break (Mumbai attacks, new Hwood market, western director) It is irritating to see him, Anil Kapoor and others gush about something like slumdog that as usual highlights the seedier, most negative aspects of the Indian story to western audiences. Would the oscars even acknowledge a desi director making the exact movie?
@kajenius I did not know that - Nayagan was a brilliantly retold story with so many facets -- I used to remember the "Nilaa adhu vaanathin mele" from the first viewing as a kid - and then saw the movie again a couple of years back to appreciate the finer aspects.
