Many people would even be content with just a re-release of the amazing game, but alas it's been so long since then that it might never come to fruition.

Brutal Legend wil be kickass, either as good as Psychonauts or better. Tim Schafer is known for great games, including Grim Fandango, Monkey Island, and Maniac Mansion. If he made a sequel to Psychonauts, it would be stupid. At the end of the game, he gets on the ship and the credits roll. Would it be shooting from the ship until you get to a destination, only to be in some shitty point-click game? No sequel known, no sequel hoped for. Done deal.

I hope not. The thing with awesome games is they're even better without sequels. It turns it into a classic. Sequels just risk ruining to name, and won't really add anything exciting or new, especially if it's just another mission for the characters. I myself preferred watching Raz's character develop, but it would be hard to do such a thing when the character has just fulfilled his dream of becoming a Psychonaut. There really isn't anywhere else to go with it. Leave it as it is.

hmm I wish but Tim is known for not doing sequals, he only did monkey island because he was made to by lucusarts, although he did say in his FAQ that he would make it for aload of cash XD maybe if tim gets more popular he will 8D

I wish they would make a sequel but I doubt that they will because it didn't sell very well. Don't get me wrong, Psychonauts is a wonderful game and I was playing it today!

At first I didn't think that he did, But he Has Done sequels, According to wikipedia. He designed Monkey Island 2 and Day Of The Tentacle, Which is a sequel to Maniac mansion! Oh and let's not turn this into a flamewar, That wouldn't be good.

I Have made a story (almost done), I will make the money, I will learn to program for this and my other videogame, as Ryan Wieber as my friend from camp and my uncle a computer programer (for Dell I think) and my cousin in Yale, Psychonauts will live again!!! (and so will Gotcha Force!) ;3

to his games(Day of the Tentacle does not
count since Tim did not work on the original
Maniac Mansion,Dave Grossman did)so don't hold
your breath,buy Schafer's new game Brütal Legend

sequals,I refering to the games he was director on,Dave Grossman was the director of all on the Monkey Islands and its sequals according to the latest issue of Game Informer
that showed the games Tim worked on also the
1st game he work on as director was the game
Full Throttle and then Grim Fandango(both of
these games did not have sequals)if his 1st

true, the ending was like "there will be 2" in my opineion that is what i think, the ending really was just...... a..... epolog...... and maby if they make 2 they could make it longer......please?!...... and i don't know who should be the villan though. but still the ending was good. but still i don't like the idea of the psychonts leader being kidnapped beacuse i have a better plot but..... it's kind of stupid.....so.....yeah. hope you undrerstand! :-)

making Brütal Legend that's it,why,I repeat
TIM SCHAFER DOES NOT MAKE SEQUELS TO HIS GAMES!Besides if Majesco Entertainment had done a better job producing Psychonauts than
there would have been a sequel(without Tim,see
above statement)but they almost put Double
Fine in bankruptcy.Hopefuly bankruptcy will
happen to Majesco Entertainment,that's why
Sierra is producing Brütal Legend this time.
