ive got an 04 GT and am debating on a whipple or k/b but regardless i dont no if its worth it to buy the intercooled supercharger kit for like what 5500 and have it installed for idk 800 or so....or to just sell it and buy an 03-04 terminator ive already put headers and a full exhaust on my car and the headers were a bitch and not sure if id have the patience to do it to the cobra but idk what do u think?
you can go the easy route and just get an 03-04 cobra, or you can do a forged bottom end and cobra upper end (heads, etc). There is a guy with a mammoth blower I know that he is selling (EVERYTHING, pullies, fuel rails, etc!) for 3,900! It'll make 900hp on an 03-04 cobra.
The stock boost gauge is limited to about 10 psi. It just stops going. :-) You might see other vids where guy remove the limiter... the gauge pretty much buries itself and gives them the middle finger. lol.
i drag that exact car - all the cool mods every summer. Most def get the rear diff and pretty much everything in the back strengthened. With 315Dr, I've snapped 2 sep things 2 sep times..Damn IRS. But ur car looks retardedly fast man! short shifting, 3/4 throttle in 2nd..Get some Dr tires & pick on some cars on the street. Wanna see peeps getting smoked!
Whipple @ 19lbs, 60lb injectors, KB Boost A Pump, BA2400, SCT XCAL2 Tune, Bassani X Pipe (no cats) to Borla Stingers. Those are the primary power mods.
