In France we call the fans "the 12th man" because it's very important to support his team with tifos, songs and stuffs, at home and on tour ! Sometimes fans can make their team win the game -by pressure on the other team-, I've already seen that :)
Thank you for the kind words. This game was in a neutral site, so it isn't even the best example of good atmospheres at MLS games. Check out fans of Seattle, Toronto, DC, and Houston (just to name a few) to see the great atmospheres that they provide for their clubs.

This game reminds me of my soccer season when I one my first Recreational championship. Same exact score. I had only scored once before that season and then I scored in the playoff final when we were ahead 2-1. It felt awesome and just like Frankie, I went hog wild.
I watched this game because I had never watched an American football (soccer) game. It was pretty good, I'd say. Not amazing, but certainly better than I expected.

The 2 best teams in MLS duking it out. Watching the MLS from the start of the season to the end, huge in improvement. Yet we have a ways to go. The Crew dominated the league at times. They looked like they were on an island league of their own. I wouldn't be surprised if The Crew loses a bunch of their guys, and coach, but they will be competitive again next season at least.
schelotto's a legend at Boca Juniors. always loyal and made them win anything and everything south american club football has to offer.
sad he couldnt make much of an impact with argentina as he didnt move to europe. a stint in La Liga or Serie A or Premiership would have done wonders for him.
and the thing is, he's 35 years old. 35 years and the best MLS player this season.

Wrong. look up the line-ups of the Newcastle teams that got thrashed, the Chelsea team that lost to the MLS ALL-Stars, Everton's squad, West Ham's squad, Fulham's squad. All A-teams, ALL BEATEN BY MLS SIDES.

you realize that this game was played in a neutral site 3,000 miles away from each of the team's city, right? So, most of the fans were neutral. Thusly, no extreme atmosphere. Now, granted over in England ya'll do do A LOT more in terms of singing, etc. But, that's your culture. I wish we did it more over here, but it's not our culture. We don't even sing for American football, basketball, etc. The most american sports fnas that actually sing and cheer are MLS football (soccer) fans.

La MLS es una liga muy subestimado. La mayoria de los jugadores pueden jugar en europa. Los equipos de MLS estan mejor que muchos equipos del mundo. Pienso que los seguidores de futbol en europa y america del sur deben ver que la liga no esta mal. Tambien la liga necesitan mas jugadores jovenes de los estados unidos. The Crew dominated the league at times. They looked like they were on an island league of their own. I wouldn't be surprised if The Crew loses a bunch of their guys, and coach, but they will be competitive again next season at least.
