I think it's beautiful. If we have to do *anything* perfectly to please God then we are all in trouble. I grew up in a good ol southern methodist church with my parents and grandparents singing in a quartet singing this song.

I grew up Baptist and have been United Methodist for over 26 years. I agree with my fellow United Methodists that have posted here. I agree this choir was spot on with this song. This is the way I grew up hearing and singing Beautiful Star of Bethlehem. I wish we sang it as much in the UMC as they do in the Baptist Church!

Its not about how hey sing... its about why they sing... I am a very liberal United Methodist and even though I don't agree with them theologically... they are singing from the heart and I think that Jesus is smiling upon you all.... Keep singing Brothers and Sisters

Baptist, nor do you need to be Baptist to sing this song, please listen to others singing the same song on here, and i promise you , you willl hear the difference, and heyyy if you enjoy it,,thats great, ,,for me ,,it makes my ears bleed. (just my opinion)

That is sung WAYYYYYY to high,,,your choir is straining terribley., and slow it down a tad. Better give the soprano's a shot of whiskey when your done this song,,,,OMG.
