least amount of recalls....out of how many 'sells'? 360,000 out of 400,000 sells is not a good thing...

really, chrysler had the least amount, i dont believe that for a second, i love american cars, i like chryslers a lot, but for them to have the lowest amount of recalls is simply impossible

as for GM having 1.9 million, about 900,000 of those were for a small glitch in the heated washer fluid systems in there cars

i think both gm and ford had lower amount of recalls than that

i would have thought chrysler would easily top 1.5 million

Chrysler only recalled 360,000 units.

And the "small glitch" in the GM vehicles caused them to catch fire, I don't call that a small glitch, but a major defect.

The numbers are what the NHTSA calculated.

@yepdcxrox A friend had his electrical system almost melt down under the dash, because of this heated washer fluid problem It ended going in twice before it was identified as a recall. Down time. 2 months. Lucky for Warranty. On a $65k+ Suburban, he wasn't happy.

That is how much they have improved their quality. Low recalls means good quality vehicles.
