I'm with mikedubya. The show is a blatant rip off. You can even see in the wikipedia article the obvious similarities between Stewie and the comic.

Family Guy is a funny show but relies on stupidity and completely off the wall humor (the easiet kind of humour to write) and without Stewie the show is gone again.

As far as I am concerned though we are treated to 4 different kinds of cartoon comedies (The Simpsons, Futurama, South Park and FG, and I guess American Dad but i don't watch that).

There's not much thought process behind their writing (which reminds me of the Family Guy skit about Stephen King's writing). Darrell Hammond is the only one worth watching, but the rest of the train wreck is hardly worth watching just for his few shining moments.
