heres my problem: when i installed ps there was some basic brushes first, but when i changed brush set and tried to change again to basic they werent the same help!!!

@MamWidelec There is a small drop down arrow in the corner of the brush presets. You should have used it to add the brushes. There is an option to reset brushes. Should restore default. There are also several other options there to look at. Load brushes adds new selections to the bottom. Save brushes allows you to create sets of brushes. Replace does just what it says. I usually use load and reset.

@SewahFwancesca Not the artist, but it looks like a gaussian blur. Go to menu and select filter then blur, and then gaussian blur and it should have the same effect.

If you want to do it in smaller amounts you can always use the lasso tool or the blur tool. The blur tool looks like a water drop about half way down but it could be hidden under smudge or sharpen.
