@suburbanweekend It's from a man's perspective. For some reason, women have no problem singing in a man's perspective, but a man's homosexual if he does the opposite. It's interesting how that works.

Interestingly enough, I'm listening to PUFFY's cover of Joining a Fan Club, wherein the original is sung by a man in an obsessed girl's perspective over some male celebrity. I have no problem with a man singing as female, it's cute; but some people do get bothered by it, for some reason.

By the way, its rare but i have heard men sing from a woman's perspective before a good example, in Jack White's song You Don't Know What Love it is said he may be singing form a womens point of view. Although this is true artists like Ncki Minaj and PUFFY are more willing to take on the man role.
