They're nerfing iron flesh hard in the next patch, in case you didn't know, along with Tranquil Walk of Peace and some other things I can't remember off the top of my head.

@StrawHatIzzy I read that the Ring of Fog and TWoP were getting nerfed but I didn't know about Iron Flesh. It makes sense, though, given how easy it is to beat bosses with it.

my first fight against the stray got me killed in one hit before i even finished standing up from my fall

also, your humanity IS working. all it does is make you more likly to GET a item, might not be the item you WANT, but you DID get items from both of them

Wow. You have terrible luck. The Black Knight weapon drops at a REALLY high rate in the Asylum. Almost everyone gets it. You had humanity and still couldn't get either one. The game must hate you.

Just bad luck. I've gotten them both playthroughs and seen every other person, except Bumbleborg, get them.

I don't know who told you that you need humanity for the Black Knight to drop their weapon, it might increase the rate but it's still random, I got the Black Knight sword there without any humanity so yeah, randomness ftw!!

@MellowMan I was saying that having more humanities boosts the item discovery stat/drop rate. I don't think I actually said you NEED it for Black Knight equipment to drop but that it can help.

@Bumbleborg It's because you said I don't know how many I need, when you upped them from 2 to 4, I thought I remembered you saying something about humanity when you fought the one in the garden also, so I jumped to the conclusion that you thought you needed them, my bad.

@Bumbleborg I hope I'm not spoiling anything for you by saying that MUCH later in the game, there is a section where the black knights will respawn. So you don't have to pin all your hopes of getting a cool black weapon from these guys that don't respawn.
