We get it - You like chevelle and I think they are a great band. they produce music that is both good to listen to and is "normal enough" to get on the raido. Tool is definately on another level esp if you are talking about musical ability. Danny Carey is amazing but he is not the be all end all of drummers. He is better than any drummer I have ever seen at polyrhythms and can play in any time signature you pull out of your ass but there are drummers just as good as him, if not (subjectively) better.

Herb for instance is another great drummer that seamlessly blends african polyrhythms into more conventional ones.

@Mechamortal - I do like Tool, and i actually love the song H which is one of my all time favorites, but it seem like when they write music they dont pick out the best songs to put on a compilation they just throw them all on. Chevelle writes really good guitar riffs for 90% of their songs. When I listen to Tool I select their best songs from different CD's, when I listen to Chevelle I play all their songs. So it's just a matter of preference...

I was diagnosed with ADHD when i was 5. I was taking Ritalin at 5. i Stopped at 10 when i developed bells paulsey. I took some medicine for that and stopped taking the ritalin. It's sad how if a kid isn't a zombie. He/She's considered "Hyperactive" when really, they're just a goddamn kid. People need to face it. Kids will act like kids. Some are more active and more talkative, but you can't accurately consider that "Hyperactive".
