  • great video - straight to my fav but just a couple of questions:

    "Essentially, I just hit HP, followed by MP + LK" -did you mean HP, followed by MP+LP? as i

    can see the input being HP,MP+HP,LP at 0:07 after the FADC.

    also how does "It covers my lazy/incorrect inputs, and is more likely to give me that normal plink timing with less effort."?

    thanks in advance

  • @kinematics1002 I guess I should clarify it a bit more. I plink then hit LK. My timing is such that the next frame or two after I plink HP (with MP), I get the LK tatsu almost always unless I mess up the motion.

  • @Hitorijime thanks for your prompt response. where does that LP come from then? looks like you plink HP->MP->LP one frame apart ?

  • @kinematics1002 I see it now. That was simply an input error, or me using HP+MP+LP to plink (can be more accurate/fool proof than normal plinking).

  • @Hitorijime I thought the LP was plinked on purpose for if you miss the HP, LP will come out as a backup =p

  • @kinematics1002 I can't remember. I always plink with all the punches now, but I can't remember if I was when I recorded this video.

  • HI! how do you plink when when doing a low kick?

  • @123comentingfreak123 You can use the LP to plink a LK. I don't do it personally, but it's not a bad thing to learn.

  • @Hitorijime How about a LP? I really want to practice Sakura! I wanna do Uryo's combos too!

  • @Hitorijime I already did this combo on a fight with another player.

    CrouchMP->Shunpukyaku->CrouchHP->Shunpukyaku->LK->EX-Shunpukyaku->Otoshi

    I wasn't able to do it again for a long time... :P

  • @123comentingfreak123 The only way to plink LP is with the Select button. Obviously this is really difficult with the default position, but it's not unheard of to remap your stick so you can plink it. Might not be tournament legal, though.

    Also, goodluck! It's a long road to doing fancy Sakura combos, unless you have fantastic execution already. :)
