It was actually the total opposite in my family when my step brother came out. We realized that he was gay, but it upset us that he was so determine to hide who he was. He would just always shut himself away from us and always beat hisself up for not being what he THOUGHT we wanted him to be. But now, he's the happiest person I know. @reeseleebaby Well...That's not actually true either...Because part of the reason, if you were even 1/8 black, you were denied rights, even if you appeared white. Persecution didn't stop at black skin, it ended at supposed 100 percent caucasion blood. The reason separate but equal introduced was because a 1/8 percent black person (who appeared white) who was denied access to a train.

I don't condone homosexaulity, however Marsha's video tugged on my heart a little bit. Back in the 80s, homosexality was in the white comm and now it has jst bombarded the blk comm. I believe tht partially ths has 2 do with child molestation being a taboo topic that no 1 really speak upon tht has now manifested into some blk males questioning their sexuality & hiding behind male/female relationships. When he uneasily told me I said awwww....... and gave him a hug. and we just cried... it was very emotional. Had Jesus been there in the car hunny I promise he would have done the same thing. a lot of people claim to be followers of christ so that they can condem others for their sins. straight people are wrong for sleeping around and then looking down on gays for being gay becuase fornication is a sin. but that doesnt change the fact that being gay is a sin. everything else aside homosexuality is a sin no matter how you try to put it but that doesnt give people the right to treat gay people the way they are so often treated.
