It introduced special moves such as the Hadouken, Shoryuken, and characters like Ryu, Ken, Adon and Sagat. If there wasn't a SF 1, then SF 2 would've not existed, or existed in a different way.

So not showcasing it is maybe good or bad, but doing no mention of it, is almost a crime.

The SF 3s, and SF Alphas are also classics, but instead we get to see ONE game and two upgraded versions. That's my major complaint.
