would this be a good bike to have after 1 year on a ninja 250? i am going to ride the ninja for a good chance to get insurance, and then jump up to a bike more for me. its this or the ninja 650, and i personally like the look of this bike, but is it GOOD for me?

4 cillinders who are willing to forgive any mistakes a newbie makes. And sporty looking to me is the same as nakeds ;-)

The FZ6 has an excellent seat for passengers I think.

Don't you worry... the new model has a 25% LESS rigid chassis. That makes it a better road bike but a worse bike if you really start to push it hard (i.e in the track)... newer doesn't mean better in this case... :) Cheer up! :)

but the swing arm was modified to compensate the less rigid frame .

the goal was to eliminate vibrations , wich kawasaki achieved'it vith rubber monts on the chassis , where the engine is fixed.
