i like to put on mascara after all the lining and applying shadow is done, that way if you have any stray sparkles or clumps of powder they dont sit on your lashes :)

@toneartz Well, the creaminess of the pencil is what's important. If you can find a black or dark colored cream shadow, that would work the best.

I use and love Maybelline Full n Soft and Lash Stiletto. I also love Bare Escentuals Flawless Definition. And Bourjois makes great mascaras.
