  • I found out about this awesome guy because of my awesome subscriptions

  • YES

  • YES

  • even phatter through headphones... thumbs up

  • Thumbs up if you think angel and keith merrow should start a band

  • @deathcoresucks1

No offense, but I think Keith, while he may be a talented instrumentalist, I think he's a self-righteous prick. He acts like he's a God because he can play rhythm on a 7 string guitar. Now he's making a MECHANICAL death metal band. Mechanical in the worst way of imagining.

    Not sure about Angel though.

  • Meshuggah like vocals goin on in my head to this.

  • got here from omnium gatherum

  • I've got to learn about boring classical music for school.

the search for 'vivaldi' brought me to this.

first time in my life I thank school.

  • @jorisken123 Dude, you are aware that this is rooted in classical right?

  • @jorisken123 Vivaldi and classical music isn't boring....... *sigh* I wish I could say kids these days but I'm 16...

  • @0Erazoender0

hey im sorry if i said anything someone didnt like.

i really respect classical music. i know it's technically very well made and i know that metal wouldnt be like it is now without clasiccal music, but the pieces we have to learn are just really boring. they made a bad choice of songs.

  • @jorisken123

I was making a joke no worries :P

  • @jorisken123 Are you learning his Four Seasons? I wish my school made us learn classical.

  • personal favourite from the EP. Great lead line at the sart.

  • for me it sounds like autumn

but ... i love it, whether its autumn oder winter:)

  • @ 0:08/0:09 I hear the sound of facebook chat :o

  • @fastbastard69 dude! same! i hear it throughout the whole song! i had that open in a different tab and i like kept clicking it thinkin it was xD

  • Honoring great Vivaldi in Musical Genius! I am quite satisfied to know great music still appears every now and then

  • who the hell would dislike this, I want to shoot a random bystander

  • 1 person was so moved by that awesome sound he slipped and hit the dislike button o.ö

  • Man it sounds a lot like Drop A#, solid riff, ice cold licks.

  • skills

  • Most of their stuff is straight tuned, 7 string BEADGBE. I believe this one is A#/Bb, though. 90% sure.

  • what tuning is this in????

    so..awesome..must learn to play it

  • @gargbaby2 from listening it sounds like drop A#

  • Fine Djentlemen.

  • This is very similar to Animals As Leaders, but they got NOTIN' on Angel. This is pure fuckin' WIN!!!

  • Some of the chillist and best musicians I've ever had the honour of watching and having fun with...ever... Go see this tune live. It's even sicker watching the musicianship as it happens!

Hats of to Angel, Jay, Jake and Bill! So glad we're friends. I learn so much from all of you!

  • great great great great !!!! plz keep it up !!!

  • Metal needs more instrumental music like this.

  • so sick... fav!

  • thx ibanez for letting us know about this awesome player

  • it like Steve Vai started listening to KsE and Periphery

  • dont get a singer your perfect this way !

  • @alesanasux couldn't agree more. I've been hoping instrumental metal like this would blow up for years!

  • i hope they'll get a singer :)

  • @stringslayer97 No. Just. ..no.

  • @stringslayer97 Ummm hell no. Plus, its one guy

  • RG Premium!

  • I know this is going to get a million thumbs down and or/ some negative comments but if you play an RG you are a tool.

  • @TheReaper0218 And why do you think that? If you're going to say something like that, at least say why.

  • @Angryification Just about every metal player I know has an RG and plays out of a line six and or/ has EMG's. The reason people like Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, or any other guitar player of your choice is legendary is because they were different and they stood out. Now you could argue that it's their playing style, but look at how much some of us as guitar players try so hard to figure out what Eddie used on the first album and we will still never know.

  • @TheReaper0218 Plays out of a Line 6. I've never heard of anyone [pro or just someone I know] who uses Line 6 amps. Also, Hendrix and EVH stood because of the way they pushed rock music forwards, not because of their gear choices [yet so many people copy them]. I do, however, agree with the EMGs bit. EMGs suck.

  • @TheReaper0218 how does playing an RG make you a tool? they are good sounding guitars with great quality regardless of the prices which for guitars as high quality is pretty low i must say.

  • @wowfreak141 damn right

  • yeah ibanez ftw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thumbs up if ibanez rg premium got you here!

  • @baderni14 NOT AT FIRST BUT "THIS MORNING" (LIKE 1:39 WHEN I WOKE UP) I SAW AT AND IT MADE ME WANNA LISTEN TO IT SO SORDOF

  • @baderni14 hahahahaha yes ibanez broght me here but its funny because i read your comment here

    hahahaha

    bye!!!

  • @baderni14 really? 3 people disliked this comment? he didnt say dislike it if it didnt bring you here.... :p

  • IBANEZ RG PREMIUM FOR SURE!

  • That was amazing. Just found out about him a few minutes ago from this song being featured on the video located on the Ibanez RG Premium website. Killswitch Engage is definitaly the first thing I thought of when I heard it and I can hear some Steve Vai influence as well. I will definitely check out more of his work and I hope he reaches great heights of success in the future! Very well done.

  • @MetaLeague Make sure you buy both their EP's. Speed of Dark, and Universal Language.! Angel really is a great musician. I was blown away by his stuff when i first heard him.

  • @MetaLeague i watched this Ibanze Premium Clip too^^

  • @MetaLeague Really? Cause I thought of Scar Symmetry but I definitely hear the Steve Vai influence.

  • Don't get me wrong, I love the music, but it hardly shows any definitive influence by Steve Vai...

  • @RabidCookie Im hearing john petrucci more then steve vai :p

  • @JgHaverty I'm hearing more of a mix between Petrucci, Vai, and possibly some Loomis.

  • @JgHaverty Dude absolutely. You could say you here just as much Malmsteen as any other, I think the Steve Vai part is just a name drop. I don't think listening to parts of his solos and trying to play fast riffs is enough, the progression of the songs just aren't Vai-esque. Very awesome tho, very metalcore/deathcore. The more I think about it, I agree, way more Dream Theatre sound than anything.

  • @RabidCookie :p

  • AWESOME :)
