So what kind of purpose do you use it for then? Its a beatiful bike: breakes are just an eye candy from my prespective.
Lock outs r great if you have full suspension bike but wanna race it without losing speed on shock compressions when you torque on pedals. For stifness :)
Those brakes are possibly the best brakes money can buy! most definitly not "eye candy", which by the way is a rediculous phrase. And why would you want a lock out on a downhill/freeride bike which if you own you would not be riding anywhere flat enough for any length of time to deserve a lock out. also why would you take a bike like this on a race which required a lock out? you buy far lighther weight bikes with less travel for races like that!
Yea i guess lock outs would be useless on this bike. Note: i am not that familiar with DH bikes. That was just a dumb comment i agree
I crank on crappy '07 Treck 6500 - bought it jus for urban street use. Good light frame, but other component parts blow. Much better then Treck 620 that i used to ride.
Thinking of getting Treck Top Fuel next. Or Giant Trance.
But still those brakes are sweet looking to me. What are they? how much?
what kind of front sus is that??
