@flyintotehmoon actually the first time i tried with a bad sim card this actually didnt damage it , so you'll be fine if everything doesnt work correctly . it just wont be unlocked , until you get a sim that works .

I forgot to do the first step & started with the *7465..... sequence. Now the phone says "phone freeze SIM unavailable. Contact your service provider." my only options are the emergency call & keypad. But when I press the # symbol in the number sequence it displays that message again.

Any ideas??

i found out what my problem was already and its was raelly stupid. i usednan at&t sim card and everything worked but when i tried it before whith a claro sim card it didnt let me remove the network lock. thanks any way couse you helped me out a lot

ok so iive tried with 2 diffrent sim cards did everinthing more than twise but it still says wrong card and when ii use de t-mobile and check it say that everithing is in active what do i do?

@nelohollow look in the description close to the bottom it says how to unlock if you did everything right it cant still say WRONG CARD , or ACTIVE . punch in all the codes and it should work , it is permanently unlocked once you pushed in the numbers you will never be able to put it tmobile sim only

The 'wrong card' screen won't go away when I put in the unaccepted sim so does this work internationally?

@iHermioneGrangerness Once you put the sim card in the phone you Type *2767*3855# and wait for the phone to reboot. The phone should display a welcome screen when it powers up again.

NOTE: i it doesnt go turn it off by pressing the off button lightly

4. At the welcome screen enter: *7465625*638*00000000*00000000­#

5... At this welcome screen enter: #7465625*638*00000000#

: It will say that the phone is deactivated.

@siogela sorry , but i only know about older samsung phone's . you can use the internet just go to google & type in unlocked samsung gravity mms setup & there should be a att thread , then there it will tell you all how to do it

@emilybaybeee15 Once you have an unlocked phone it will block that because it is not the same service only text and call works

@jeffreycheew i only tried to unlock this phone with use for att , so thats all ive tried it on , it should work if its the same phone . i dont why it would be doing that though , i have an iPhone now so i cant check .

@scauldie Net10 ? Im not sure this will work at all with that company . They have there own phones for there company , i seen and there sim cards cant be used on most unlocked phones .

@megamanexe39 it shouldn't say that , I never had that problem . I used it about 4 months with AT&T , but I was on a contract . That shouldn't change anything though . I don't know why it would be doing that .

@638462836 Unlocking a phone for another carrier BLOCKS sending mms messages and EVERYTHING DATA , those features can only be used with the original phone carrier . All phones are like that , except the new smartphones .

@danman789 since its the same phone it should work , ive never seen it say it doesnt have a sim even though it does , because i done this to my older samsung phones too . it should just make sure its in the right way then when it says its in there its just the codes you enter in and thats mostly all , try anything you can think of to find out a way it could read the sim . idk why its doing that
