In a previous response of mine, I pointed out that the vacuum system now takes the volume of air and the pressure into account. It doesn't suck constantly any more - when the air runs out, the pressure is equalised and it stops.
It already has been. Now the system works based on the volume of air in each area. Once the air pressure has equalised, the suction stops. Until you open another door :)
Space is the vacuum outside the spaceship, as the pressure rises, so does the boiling point of liquids, well, it works the other way around as well. If you suddenly get sucked out into space, your blood and other bodily fluids are at 36 degrees celcius and the pressure around you is zero, what happens? Your blood and other fluids boil, making you explode more or less. After the boiling is done, you freeze as all the heat dissipates from your body.
You are right... The pressure is inside the space ship. and space has a thin, or better say no athmosphere at all == VACUUM... when the oxygen and other athmospheric gasses leave the ship taking passengers with it.
@NicoGomez There isn't pressure in space, but there is pressure inside a ship, or spacestation. and if you open a way for a area of high pressure, to an area of low pressure, that high pressure is gonna go to the low pressure. in this case, the vaccume outside.
No, I disabled the player interaction for the purposes of recording the demo. In normal operation, the player would be just as affected as everything else.
In space, no one can hear you screaaaaaaa....
