wow....I was there in 1978 for a few weeks. the first thing I thought when I saw this vid was there must be some kind of festival going on...but it's an everyday thing at Colva now?! Colva had very few people on the beach. Occasional groups of Indian tourist hoping to see some nudies. back then there were only one of two small hotels, the rest were just rooms in Colva residence's homes. With all those dogs, I would be very careful of walking around barefooted in that beach.
Damn, how it has changed since I did the backpack thing in from Afghanistan in 1976. The beaches were so vacant that they were nude, there was 1 "motel" and a couple of "restaurants.
Looks like a complete shithole that only a half decent tsunami might improve. As for the people; Goa's full of old heavily tanned paunchy Europeans or young and heavily dreadlocked and tattooed and..paunchy, faux hippies and faux trust funders. Everyone seems to be dropping out of something but they ain't sure what.

Colva is a filthy pig sty. I was there 1 week ago. The beach was unswimable due to filth. Goa is overrated. I do not know what the fuss is about??? Palolem is the ONLY nice beach we saw in Goa. Goa is full of fat ugly trailer trash English people.
In fact, there are 3+8 (1 is seen after the COLVA RESIDENCY in front of the people who are sitting on the fence and the other 2 below the life guard/police)

Looks like a Hindu - Holiday - Colva is so long of a beach that it is easy to get away from the smiling eyes if one choose.
