Originally Buckwild made a beat with this for Organised Konfusion, it was going to be on the Stress LP I'd love to hear what that would have sounded like.
@sapphiretaurus i'm not narrow-minded, i just don't think the beatles are as amazing as everyone else does. i appreciate them, it's just not my sort of music. that doesn't make me narrow minded, it's a matter of taste, and i was just saying to the other person that telling me to shut up or whatever doesn't change my opinion about them, and same to calling me narrow minded. you like them, i think they aren't that great. i appreciate all kinds of music man i'm not narrow minded.
@crayyawn It's fine if you appreciate them but don't like them. Not everyone thinks they are amazing, and some do, but there are other ways of saying you don't like them. IYou also posted an response to Pimpather, where you first said "fuck the beatles, they are overrated and boring." That person wasn't responding to you or anyone. If you had worded your comment differently, Egondv would have respinded differently.
@crayyawn I'm just responding twice because of lack of space. I'm not arguing about taste or preference, but there is a way of saying that you don't like something wohtout sounding harsh or rude. Your original comments are much different than what you wrote to me just now. No one would know from the first comment you made to that first poster. If someone says they don't like them, but appreciates them, that's no problem, but cursing them isn't right. No argument intended.
@sapphiretaurus i agree with you fully. my comments were harsh and rude and i would not say the same thing today. i understand your point and it was my over-the-top comments that started the whole thing in the first place. i appreciate you correcting me. peace
I don't want to go get into a dumb internet argument, but I'm afraid it was Buckwild who produced the track. I'm looking at the liner notes on the LP right now. And I've just checked Wikipedia. And it also says Buckwild on the 12" single I've got in my hand.....
Don't get it twisted. Finesse is dope, but it was Mr Best who worked the sample and the boards on this hip hop classic.
Yes It is a Buckwild production! Everywhere is written and it is his one of his most notable productions. Ga Head is the only Finesse production of Word...Life
@Tableturn Buckwild's production on Word...Life is awesome. way ahead of it's time at certain points if you ask me. like that intro from let it slide... damn!
Yeeeeeaaaahhh maaaaan thats the banger rite there ! its like a whole rhelm of the real feeling that a little loop gave the idea of what really lies in the true song. i love it !

So dope. I remember the first time I heard this track my head exploded.
Kind of funny to think that one of the illest hip-hop breaks is a Beatles cover. Haha.
