  • Advertising is essential in the marketing mix...whenever it moves away from it there is a divorce with the consumer: The essence of any marketing activity.

  • Cool

  • *consumer.

  • You may be one, but I like to be called a "customer". We don't "consume" everything.

  • Consumer=a person who uses goods and services

In terms of imports and exports.

We as customers also may be called CONSUMERS.

I was only correcting what it really said on the shirt.

    CONSUMER.

  • Just one word - awesome !

    really liked it :-o)

  • Summary:

    1. Conversation is necessary to a real relationship.

    2. Listening is one side of a conversation.

    3. Customers have changed.

    4. Advertisers - especially agencies - haven't.

  • Is this an ad for a t shirt promotions company?

  • Free TV and/or a choice of hundreds of channels. Free websites. Free radio. Brought to you by Advertising. Enjoy.

  • Marketing is becoming the profession of not researching your customers and breaking them into simple groups anymore, but listening to what they say, inviting criticism and communicating by the media the customers choose. My favourite company can try to reach me by tv ads all they want but I don't watch tv anymore. Ask me what I think and you'll get my attention.

  • Well done!

Right on, [except I hate to tip off the suits that will ONLY adapt to this reality because of greed. Not because they 'got it' to begin with, or even through their own consumer-centered awareness.

(She was kinda hot too, yes?)

  • Nice, tells us everything thats wrong with traditinoal marketing
