  • I just completely messed my old computer trying to remove the cpu. Then I found this video

  • Intel always used the shittiest fucking heaksinks known to man. God help me if I ever have to deal with the heatsink that came with my old Core 2 Duo. AMD heatsinks are a god send, only takes a few seconds to install them, and your ready to go.

  • Thanks mate, I was just gonna pull the damn thing out as I have never pulled apart a pc before. The ram, disk drive and hdd were the easiest things to remove as you just basically pull them out but lucky I didn't do that to the heatsink!

    i found a old p4 3.0ghz processor and it still works....

  • Dude mine's Stuck!! its not heatsink that installed its "silicon Compound" im trying to replace a new one when i remove the fan it wont came off..

    BTW? is your board socket 478?

  • Thanks for uploading this mate. I think I'm having CPU overheating issues and that I may need some more thermal paste, but didn't have a clue how to remove the heat sink from the CPU.
