For a freshman, I think you did good by Lynard Skynrd and their song Free Bird. HOWEVER, the drummer was definately not in tune with the song. His playing was waaaaaayy to fast for this song.

I`ve been playing guitar for 20 years and i joined my first band when i was 13. That performance was fucking incredible, the timing might have been slightly out, but they don`t have any monitors which makes it hard to hear properly on the stage and they are also youngsters. Anybody that slags of this performance is a jealous and envious wanker. I`d love to watch the critics of this show me what they can do! If you any of you can do better show us!

One thing you guys who keep saying to much distortion, is i had that cranked almost at full volume on the clean channrl, so the amp produces its own distortion that way. if you listen to most live songs they sound extra distorted because of the louder volumes.

we literally threw this together in hours.
the rhythm guitar player showed up abput 30 minutes before we went on and i showed him all the chords and where the breaks were.
the drummer had come over the night before and we had rehearsed for about an hour

as performers, your job is to put a good product out there. The world doesnt care how long you prepared. So while this is not that bad considering the preperation, it is still BAD. Nothing will change that. And that is an unfortunate aspect of performance. I'm a performance major at North Texas..I think I would know, you ass sponges.

One thing you guys who keep saying to much distortion, is i had that cranked almost at full volume on the clean channrl, so the amp produces its own distortion that way. if you listen to most live songs they sound extra distorted because of the louder volumes.

That was crazy stuff man, intro sounded a bit weird but still was amazing, I don't think some peeps read the caption saying that you guys never played together and had to scramble to put on the show.
When you started the solo you reminded me of Allen Collins by your body gestures and stuff
at 8:14 when you did your jump you totally reminded me of Alan Collins cos I remember seein him do that leap at that part of the song in some of their live videos.

but i had only been playin guitar barely a year when this video was taken.
