Does anyone even know how to run this? I downloaded 1.7 from MODDB, then patched to 1.71, the only two files on thier MODDB page, and the game doesn't even come with a fucking executable file to run it. What the fuck? Now I'm redownloading a bunch of files from some filehosting site that only has servers in France and the UK. The developers for this mod really need to get their shit together if they want the average player (like myself) to give two shits about their mod.

No, in PR, you can suppress enemies by shooting at them. Bullets do break the sound barrier in real life which makes a snap noise by your face, which cause your character to blur out and go deaf. So they can't see anything and just duck and cover. The PR bleeding is also impressive. If you bleed too much, the screen turns black/white, emit coughing sounds repeatedly, and less energy. Patching up a partner takes a while and you can't throw kits onto the ground. But 2142 can be slightly different.

I don't see why everyone LOVES BF2. It might be fun but I think that this game is a kind of its own. There are TOO many modern warfare games and I get tired of them. Thats why I stick to 2142. To realistic and it sorta messes up the fun. Who wants to try to lead a squad when the can't see or hear? 2142 is simple that's why I like it but I respect your point of view. Everybody has their own choice. :)

walkers are more vulnerable, you get more apms and they explode on you as well as the enemy, shield can take all kinds of fire, blood, machine gun in support kit has been modified, there is a new kind of jeep called a squad car, and the zeller can harm vehicles.

those are the only ones i can think of off the top of my head.

lol you should buy it. Its a rely fun game! Great team play, and you don't need a gaming computer to play it (although it helps) But actually there is some major differences. Yes, little but all the same important. If you look at explosions, the textures on the ground, the way chain guns and deaths sound, and then compair with original, then you will see!
