French and British should have thought about the long term reaction to their horrid treatment of Germany in 1919. Anyone who studies WW1 knows that the Germans did NOT start the war. My fellow Americans all believe Germany was the agressor in first world war which is not even remotely true. British were not even bound by treaty to participate in the war and neither was the USA. Germans were treated like a "defeated" enemy in 1918 which was simply not true. WW1 was a "tie" with a cease fire.
@randy95023 They may not have started the war, but they did little to stop it either. Germany was the imperialistic heart of the Central Powers. They took little incentive to launch a full scale assault on neutral Belgium, begun unrestricted u-boat and air attacks, and continued to fight long after any hope had been lost.
Thanks a lot !
I've never seen this movie before !
