  • sunglasses means he's on bamz.

  • could you you show me how to paly the solo harmonica part of mountain of love by johnny Rivers. thaks. i have the tabs but ,can;t seem to quite get it. thanks

  • what key is your harmonica in?

  • My harmonica is in the key of C idk if he plays it in that sooo

  • he who sings with his tongue on fire

  • @lespaul702

I hear Bob Dylan singing quite frequently on his cds yes :) I think you should start paying some more attention to music once you're listing to it! Because it might sound a little crazy or so, but Bob Dylan really sings! unbelievable isn't it????

  • These are all single-notes right?

  • nice video and sound like you got a gifted singing voice also.

Dylan is my favorite and after blowing in the wind that was the second song i learned. good job.

  • None of Bob's melodic harp-parts are brain surgery

  • ballbag thinks hes a superstar

  • ballbag thinks hes a superstar

  • Is it sunny inside your house?

  • you're blowing like 3 holes every time you blow that thing, so you might as well put that on the tab. or then you could learn to play a little better. don't give up, you'll be good some day.

  • good stuff

  • Very nice! I have played this song for years and never knew the harmonica part Thanks, Good job I try to learn it.

  • haha he's shite

  • fake singing voice...

  • first you have to learn, then..teach

  • what Key is it in? because i got a Hohner Marine Brand in the key of e because my frineds said its the best for blues but apparently it isn't and i'm trying to find blues songs for it or any song that is played in E. Can you help me?

  • @ztj95 Hey Pal, since you have an E already I'd start with that. Most people gradually buy all the different keys so they aren't subjected to just one key. As far as dylan goes- he changes the key to his songs frequently so it depends on which song you're talking about. Hope this helps!

  • @maxhaddrall thx man

  • @ztj95 For blues harmonica you typically play "cross harp", which would mean that to use your E harp, you would play in the key of B.

  • you look like castros bro.

  • can u teach the the solo part of the song

  • @jqueriapajj Hey there, yeah I can- but you should find a room that you feel comfortable in and just jam by yourself and experiment! Its a lot of fun and you can learn really quick :^)

  • u can't use an e harmoinca ??

  • i also highly recommend tightening ur ombechur (sp?) and working on getting the single notes, and (sorry if u weren't) it looks like ur chewing gum....don't do that while playing.

  • u need it in C key, and u don't have the intro to the song, and those rn't the tabs lol.

u sound like Bob though when u sing.

  • its sounds preety good on a g one too

  • It sounds MUCH better on a C harmonica

  • Umm are you tone deaf or somthing That sound way off and i hope people learning from you dont remember any of this

  • the harmonica is just in the wrong key stupid

  • Go buy yourself a diatonic C :)

  • what chord harmonica are u using i need to play the harmonica solos in the song

  • "does anybody have a E Flat.. E flat harmonica... anybody!!" - Bob Dylan

  • that not the right quote he just said e harmonica

  • yeah, you're right.

    sorry.

probably because i use an e flat.

    my bad..

  • I do! I do! Gotta play those important Bb tunes...

  • haha well i thought it sounded good!

  • well done. do u have the tabs for the start of dylans your going to make me lonesome when u go

  • This isnt right. If your trying to get it like the lyrics then I understand what your doing. But for the song its not right.

  • uuuuu.... i think you're missing alotta notes or something because it doesn't seem long enough

  • thank u

  • This is a great service for beginners, thanks for posting.

Have you seen the Dylan "e harmonica" version when the fans throw many E harmonicas on stage at his request? You obviously chose to use other than an E. I can't tell which, but my guess is C? How come?

  • what key is your harmonica in mate?

  • Yep still trying But Have to buy one in what key yours is in....Great site

  • in the key of E.

  • Very good Video....Just learning ...So I'm trying to play....Doesn't sound anything like what you play ha ha ha

  • hey..good job!! i like the way youre really teaching the song and not just playing it.. im a beginner soo i really dont get it if somebody doesnt show me the details of how it goes... could you post a tutrial of you playing this song on guitarr aswell?? i would be forever gratefull /Linda

  • douche

  • is that a piedmont blues harp!? haha nice dude you need to upgrade

  • why are you wearing glasses inside?

  • he is trying to hide his identity hahah

  • what kind of harmonica is it?

  • Can you post the harmonica solo dylan does after the 4th chorus? that would be very helpfull

    Thanks

  • Great work buddy. First off, thanks for putting the effort in. Secondly, nice presentation. Pretty professional job.

  • in the words of bill and ted,

    EXCELENT!!

  • Hey Maxx... thanks for this!

I guess the question I'd ask is which key harmonica are YOU using, and which guitar chords do you play this song with? Thanks.

  • if you want to play with a c harmonica then youll have to play the guitar in the key of c too..or else it wont go..thats only if ur playing it with a guitar..other cases its fine...

  • u could go c harp with a guitar in g

  • you are so cute!!!

  • you'll have to capo the 10th fret or capo a lower fret and find other chords.

  • You'll have to change the key you're playing on the guitar, if you do play guitar to this song.

  • nice nice go red sox, fuck the rays keep on playing woo hoo

  • haahahha

dude you make me laugh lol in a good way

  • It's ridiculous to break this down to numbers...just feel it!!! Play the disc and follow along. Dylan plays it different every time so just do your own thing.

  • man i totally agree, but for people that dont have the ear for it, or that dont know how to play, thats the reason I took the time to do this

  • That's cool...I learned by ear...didn't even think I could play but one day I was playing along with the record and one my college roomies came in and said Ï didn't know you play harmonica.

  • thanks. and how much money should i expect to spend on one. do you know? cause i dont wanna spend alot but i mean i also dont want a crappy one thats gonna break or something

  • thnx..can u do chimes of freedoom

  • I just started teaching myself the harmonica. Do you have any tips on how I can hit single notes every time? any techniques that have helped you I would be thrilled to try.

  • curl your tongue to channel the air into the note. With practice it will work every time

  • haha, i got those same harps. gettin it.

  • ok im gonna buy my first harmonica. does it matter what key its in? what key is the performance of this song at the newport folk festival in?

  • the most popular keys are G and E

  • thanks alot man

  • hey, do u know the harmonic number things for blowin in the wind for the parts dylan plays the harmonica for?

  • Hey! Thanks a lot for the video, been looking all over for some help on this song! I'm a literal beginner, meaning i started 3 days ago and am progressing pretty well but dont know much about theory just yet. My Harmonica is C i think, can i still play this song with this harmonica? Prolly with different tabs or something?

    Appreciate your help either way!

  • you can play it with any harmonica, same way, the only difference is the pitch

  • thanks a bunch!

hey no need for shades and hat.

    your pretty cute :)

  • Thaaaaaaaaaanks:)) So Bob uses G or C??

  • I think Dylan changes depending on how he's singing, but his earlier stuff is in E

  • Thanks for posting this. Ive had a harmonica for a few months but for some reason never got around to it. Got lucky and have the right key too.

  • what abou the solo? do you have any tab? i cant find it..

  • i am searching for the solo at the beginning of the song too, if you can get a general one that would be cool.

i guess the only problem is each solo is different from the one before.

  • GGGGGGG

  • Thanks...for the "tabs"!

  • haha no worries

  • I decided yesterday id try and learn the harmonica for some of dylans songs, so that was 29th may and you go and upload this on the 27th, perfect timing!

Thanks for the kick start, you should upload your own cover, let us hear what you sound like when its all together :)
