  • My bro was playing Chun and I was playing Ken and since I figured I was gonna lose I throw out a random ultra. My bro immediately follows up with Chun's and Ken's ultra beat out Chun's. Shit was so cash.

  • You only get a negative penalty in Blazblue for running away not blocking. The reason they even put a negative penalty in Blazblue cause some chars can kill you from across the screen no problem (Nu). And anyone who has played the game for more than a day knows that counter attack players in Blazblue almost never block. We should be talking about SF4 anyways save this stuff for his Blazblue review.

  • I like how in blazblue you get defense penalty for running backwards trying to run to much.

  • The problem with Chun's super and ultra, is that she dashes while the screen is still dark.

  • This reminds me of Daigo as ken parrying all of chun li's kicks in sf3 lol.

  • Never hadoken against a Chun with Ultra. You can FADC back right after the hadoken but good Chuns will do a dash Ultra and still catch you.

  • all fighting games should add negative penalties for running away too much and blocking too much. Features like that will get rid of most turtles

  • Why would you stop a playstyle that someone chooses to play? It'd be like adding negative points for someone who is aggressive because he's good at it. If someone's good at turtling, let them turtle. If you're good at being on the offensive, then be offensive. Adding a penalty effect for those reasons are just stupid. Both playstyles have their faults.

  • I don't see how it's stupid and it works in games. Blazblue for example uses this feature and turtles can still do there thing but they also have to keep in mind that they will have to attack at some point.

  • Turtling is a counter-attack style of gameplay. In other words, Blazblue removes how these players can use their OWN style to its fullest extent. It's a handicap on one style of gameplay and gives an unfair advantage to the other.

    1. Jumping on a Chun in a down stance.

    2. Not breaking her focus with an air EX tornado kick.

    3. Excessive jumping (pattern)!

    4. Not focus cancelling.

    5. Being near a wake up Chun Li (EX bird kicks are killers)!

  • sorry lance, but you're wrong. if you pause the screen, your arms are still sticking out, and that extends your hitbox. trust me, i use abel and that junk happens all the time .

    and FA against jump ins are not bad, not everyone has a lp srk like ryu that beats EVERYTHING out of the air.

  • Also, her Ultra completely ignores fireballs. It's nice against Sagats, Ryus, or fireball-happy Kens.
