  • Why is a nipple piercing in the Related Videos? Doesn't make sense.

  • In social studies we were talking about money. Then the teacher says it takes money to make money. IT'S A MONEY INCEPTION!

  • Interesting video)) If anyone interested i know where you can buy a lot of World Coins for a low cost.

  • When you think about it, a coin is just a piece of metal. It doesn't matter how intricate the artwork is on it, its the RARITY of coins that give them value. If coins were plentiful as sand on a beach they would have no value whatsoever.

  • for this much work, ya might as well make decimal bills

  • ah 240p we meet again...

  • what's the name of the song being used in this video if anyone know's can they tell me

After seeing this video, my little sister (12 yrs) was like: "It's crazy making coins! It's so expensive. And making it smaller and smaller and smaller....... They should just have little kids making the coins. They can see the little stuff."

  • 53 people have millions of dollars and don't want to see money anymore

  • it took long to make coin y don't we replace it with paper money?

  • @ChelseaTheBlue01 because it WORTHLESS!!!

  • @ChelseaTheBlue01 Coins have so much more value than notes.

  • @ChelseaTheBlue01 Coins have actual value to them. Paper money is only valuable because the gov says it is. If the gov took monkey shit and said it was worth 50 dollars, it is worth 50 dollars. Coins however, are rugged and pretty and have metals in them, which, like gold, will always have value to it.

  • @ChelseaTheBlue01 Tell me now

How much is a USD Bill worth today? >:)

  • positive negitive positive negitive positive negitive positive negitive positive negitive positive negitive positive negitive positive negitive.... BRO! I DIDNT FINISH MATH CLASS!

  • SO WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PEOPLE AND THE GOVERNMENT?

CAN WE MAKE OUR OWN MONEY?

    WHY NOT?

  • @zombie1469 Cause it ruins the economy..lol..

  • I want ALL that silver!

  • if i was the engraver with a microscope i would engrave the word "fuck" in the very corner of the coin.. no one will ever know!

  • So... shiny..... O.0

  • Yikes....so many steps! Why not just pour the silver into a direct mould? Seems it would be simpler. And why don't they just directly engrave it rather than go through the plaster model....I don't get that but I guess it works.

  • @icekat83 This process is to make collectible coins. As he says near the end, circulation coins go through a machine that can make several hundred coins *per minute*. Casting the coins would be a lot of work too due to the fact that casting leaves a rough finish that would have to be polished.

  • @captain150 what's the name of the song that's being used in this video

  • It is the most coolest thing. OMG!

  • cool

  • 5:00 the guy is wearing 3 condoms

  • @Mellow888Mood They are not condoms, although they are made the same way. They are made for fingers to allow an easier grip. I have seen them used in post offices.

  • @djbmancia1 or maybe you can't seem to speak it..oooooooooo think about that!

  • This should be called Making british silver mint-proof coins. This is not how most coins are made.

  • Makin that money!

  • Positive, negative, positive, negative, positive, negative, positive, negative... Yeah I got lost after the first 3

  • in 3:42 i thought it was a chocolate coin!

  • In America it's pronounced Buck-ing-ham. It's funny that English was originated by the English, but they never can seem to speak It.

  • @djbmancia1

its like the word tomato, people pronounce it differently

  • @djbmancia1 Yes, because differing accents don't exist. And there's no way the fault could POSSIBLY be on the American side, amirite? YOU ASS AYE!! YOU ASS AYE!!

  • AWESOME!!!!!1111

  • The workers probably tell people they made alot of "money" working there.

  • ohhhhh i thought he said a machine called a pentagram, that would be fuckin badass XD

  • Cool

  • i love all u curious you tubers

  • This guy is the best narrator they've had so far. I don't like the new people.

  • This must have to be the most boring job in the entire world. The "how hot dogs are made" looks like the funnest one.

  • It costs 1.7 cents to make a penny and 9 cent to make a nickel this is wasting billions of dollars annually that could be used towards job programs that politicians are fighting about right now, why not cut these out of the production line and keep coins to dimes quarters half dollars. The argument over stopping this does not ensue a heated argument between senators and politicians. The only reason we keep them is because they are sentimental to americans. Paste this to spread the word.

  • I think this may be at the mint in Ottawa. I toured it with my family and it looks EXACTLY like in this video. But seriously that mint is so sweet. theyve got rare collectible coins that you would never find on the streets and you could actually see some being made

  • 3:26 They now cast this negative, into a positive. They now cast this positive, into a negative. They now cast this negative, into a positive. Guess what comes next! wtf?

  • @TheTechAdmin no doubt.. i forgot which came 1st..? Ahh, who cares, it's money in the bank.. ;-)

  • @TheTechAdmin

    After approval....

    Plaster model(Rough) with negative -[Enhancement]-> Plaster(+) -> Plaster(-) -> Rubber(+) -> Epoxy(-) -[Reduction]-> Brass(-) -[Fine-tuning]-[Reduction]-> Steel "Matrix"(Final size,-) -> Steel "Punch"(+) -> Steel "Die"(-) -> Real coins

Here it is. It blows my mind repeatedly.

  • too much positives and negatives

  • I liked how the guy had finger-condoms at 5:00 LOL!

  • @aaronboi77 LOL!

  • LISTEN PEOPLE, its not all about you god darn americans okay. You guys are awesome and so is barack obama, dont get me wrong, but so what if its canadian money, thats how america makes it too so stop complaining.

  • @brandonglazer i fucking know right lol

  • why are canadians using QE2 still to this day. when they gained independence, was the agreement to have england approve the coin's design?

  • @len0808 It's the UK, not England!!!!!!!!

  • negative positive negative positive negative positive negative positive negative positive negative positive

  • i am a coin collector and this is so cool

and takes a a long time to make

  • Lets make coins!

  • How come there are no videos showing the process of manufacturing dollar bills? I search it on YT and get nothing related to it. Is it some secret government-guarded secret or something?

  • why won't the workers take the coins and leave

  • @ThePower1211 The workers are searched before they enter and leave the mint so their own money doesn't get mixed up with the produced money and to make sure coins are not stolen.

  • @Diamondblade2008 ohhh, thank u

  • strike it twice and you have a pfoof coins

  • great stuff

  • "They reduce this brass model to 1 and a half times it's size..." If you make it 150 % of it's size it would become larger! Oh, no! =P

  • Why was the UK on the map with the Euro? We don't use the Euro, We still use pound sterling and that is how it is going to stay!

  • @Zeamus634 Why was Canada on the map if they use Canadian dollars and not Us? They both wen't highlighted so that's my guess, I think a bit of Russia is on there too and I really don't think they woulda put that on there if they knew what they where doing

  • @Zeamus634 Have another look at the graphic. The parts in red are under the Euro and the parts in yellow are under the US dollar.

Notice Canada and the UK are not coloured.

  • How it's made: Your mom's clothing.

  • then a negative is made, then a positive, negative, positive, negative, pos...WHY THE FUCK SO MANY TIMES?

  • What???

  • 01:58 funny job =)

  • thats not canadian money

i have never seen that coin used as money

    i am canadian

  • one of the few reasons they dont make with cheap material is to discourage replication (even tough is very unlikely.) bc u would spend more with the material the coin would worth

  • positive negative positive ngegative postive negative

    brain is fried now!

  • I want one of those 'individual silver bars!'

  • @Diamondblade2008 no shit right hahahaha

  • A negative is the backwards side. And dam that's a lot of steps
