The yellow smoke an unholy talent called "desecration". It's a talendbased improvement of plague strike which slows the enemy within it's radius by 50%. It also causes the enemy to take 5% more damage.
AoE grinding becomes lot more easier after lvl 68 (northrend) atleast thats my opinion ... I aoed at lower levels and it was everytime ending very low healt and dying if an add entered ... after 68 (with updated gear its alot easier )
Yeah, playing an BM Hunter Autoattacker sounds like alot of fun to me... (not!) :D
well, the casters where the biggest problem. Just wanted to test it out. But it was close sometimes. For straight-leveling this way, u should skip them, of course. But like said before: it's just a try out. ;)
Actually i can confirm this works even better at higher level and this guy in the vid isnt playing it right. You should end an ae pull like this with top hp if you know what you're doing. The biggest problem in this pull was the casters of course.
As for ae pulls with no downtime, roll a bm hunter and well, ill leave it at that. No downtime, thanks to aspect of viper and pet heal.
The most important addons I use are Pitbull, Bartender 4 and Quartz. The listing on the right is QuestHelper. I also recommend Power Auras, which I haven't configured for my DK yet.
well i agree with unsignedbyte , ive never seen a class that can aoe grind same level mobs with no downtime . . . are you sure your playing the right game buddy?
Just pointing out that it is possible. Look at the hunter, great example of a class that can do the same with no downtime. The paladin can also do the same these days, didnt think we would see that day lol. The mage would of course suffer downtime but gets a plus since he can create his own food/water. The warrior (prot) can also do the same and its quite scary these days since they buffed him quite well.

It's so absurd that pestilence isn't a talented spell...but i spose the double disease ticks and unholy blight make unholy aoe far superior.

After one ae pull you're pretty wounded and you got downtime. There are classes out there already that can do this... *without* any downtime.

This vid is not going to show, thats it's general possible to aoe-grind in wow, but to give people the idea of grinding that way.
Could you give me a class that can grind for ever without having to eat or drink? :D
(btw: it's getting better now that i got some new spells with further level^^)
