we go fishing in lake erie on our boat 100 yards or so and we have limited out on perch almost every time and caught 6 fish ohio larger than 15 inch perch

once or twice a year I do the same thing around kelly island on lake erie with my boat. I usually have to throw back half of my limit to keep that size but it can be done on lake erie if you know were to go and what bait to use!

I fish in the depth range of 5-10 in the Lake i fish at. I only troll with an electric motor and I hit huge Perch but not as consistantly as this. I think this year I will try using minnows and jigging and see what happens.

So if you mark these areas on your GPS, you only move if the Perch are not hitting good @ that time. OR asshole Charter Boat Captains try to run you over...AND THEY DO...NOT TO MENTION ALL THE OTHER INCONSIDERATE STUFF THEY DO!!!!

For instance, your line set-up and depth of the water your fishing in. I never fished for perch on Lake Michigan and this information would sure help for rookies like me. Thanks for the show.

I fish off the Shore in Evanston, IL and The only thing I've caught is a Goby. I don't have a boat so I can't get to far out there. I will wait for Spawning season. Nice Perch by the way.
